Very good food and very friendly service. We were very satisfied!
Impeccable, authentic Swabian cuisine. Even if everything was on the table faster than you could order, you get full marks. I couldn't stop the portion for 4 until the last spaetzle was finished. π Then a strong espresso from the very attentive service. Good as well!
Unfortunately, I didn't find the food particularly good. Priced very upscale. A Vesper menu was also missing. That this was missing was not pointed out when making the reservation. The visit was disappointing for the first time.
The food was very good and the service is great.
The service was very good. The quality of the food didn't convince me for the price. Why is the piece of meat put on the side dish? Completely incomprehensible ...
I've been here many times and the food has always been very fine. Something was different this time. The kick was missing, I hope nothing has fundamentally changed in the kitchen. As I said, everything is ok, but the Krone has never just been "ok".
The owner is very nice and it's clean and well-kept. The breakfast was very good.
Great garden, good food. Polite staff. There might be more of it. Recommendation!
A very nice and attentive service. The food was also very tasty. Highly recommended for a nice evening in the cozy courtyard
Very nice waiters and very accommodating! Unfortunately, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired.
Ordered for 10 people at relatively short notice on request in the beautiful inner courtyard. Everyone was very satisfied with their food - quality, taste and quantity. Classic Swabian menu. Accordingly, of course, the price was ok;) Very friendly service and boss, also patient with somewhat demanding guests.
Nice weather, so we had dinner in the garden. Staff is superfriendly, food was nice, german beer was cold, so it was a pleasant evening. Will come back when in Ulm again.
Delicious food, good service, people kept asking if everything was OK. Good seating in the yard
The scenery is beautiful, the service is pretty cute, and the menu is great in Chinese
The food was awful. Having declined a potato salad side dish we ordered a side salad at extra price only to be served a potato salad disguised with lettuce and swimming in slop. This was to go with Maultaschen which was in no way the traditional dish. The service was perfunctory. The server was pleasant enough but not really interested. When we asked for the bill he went back to the bar and started speaking to his workmates. It took another ten minutes and a lot of trying to catch his eye before we could pay. I do not recommend this restaurant.
The Krone is Ulm's oldest restaurant, almost an institution. Ambience is wonderfully rustic and very cozy with pleasant lighting. The food is home-style with Swabian specialties. However, my soup was overly salted today. Of course I tried to correct it immediately, but it didn't really work. Guess that was an exception, mistakes can happen anywhere. Staff is friendly, attentive and quick. Prices are reasonable. Reservation is not a bad idea, especially on weekends.
Food very tasty and presented to the eye perfectly. Service at the end unfortunately a bit unfriendly. But you could look over there because everything else fit ... Recommended for family celebrations.
A fine fine place, great food, amazing beer. Enjoyed my stay in this place very much.
The service is always very anxious and always friendly! The dishes are nicely prepared and are always warm. The inn is great easy to reach! The good transport links makes a visit feasible. I have not been so impressed with a restaurant for a long time.
Karin, the owner, is a sweet beautiful woman able to put you and your guest in the best and comfortable condition to appreciate the ancient atmosphere and the great dishes they serve. Absolutely a place to visit and stay relaxed
Great typical location, quick service and tasty food. Recommended.
Nice food & good service
Great staff superb food
Warm welcome, great beer, wine, and exceptional food. Oldest hotel in Ulm.
A very nice, rustic guesthouse in the heart of Ulm. Food and drink were served quickly in the outdoor dining area and were delicious. There are also real Ulmer specialties, the Zwiebelrostbraten was lonely top! Service and boss very nice and courteous, asked if everything fits. Felt as a guest very well and completely supplied.
Today had a delicious lunch in the beer garden, or better in the beer yard. Food and drinks were served quite quickly, the service and the boss were very attentive. Prices are ok. There was nothing to complain about.
Smart little place just out of the busy city centre. Good selection of local traditional food. I'd happily go again
Excellent food! Nice environment. Super to have a romantic dinner or enjoy with friends
Nice German restaurant with typical Ulm food
Foods good..
Really awesome food. Seems it is from 1326, not sure how much true. As per my German friend all the foods are here authentic German ones.
This inn has been welcoming guests since 1320. They must be doing something good then. Large portions, gutburgerliche kuche, good beer, democratic prices. Best asset of the place is the extremely friendly staff. Recommended.
Mega delicious food :) and relatively cheap. However, you have to wait a relatively long time for the food. Well attended in the evening.
Nice decor and friendly staff. Food is missing something in my opinion. Ordered fish and evegetables and it was dry and tasteless.

Historic pub and restaurant dating back to 1320. Major credit cards accepted.
The food is amazing, high quality, great taste, fair price, that's a MUST-EAT place for those looking to taste local specialties!
Price / performance at the upper limit. Otherwise everything OK. Attentive service.
First of all, it's open on a Monday which is evidently odd but good because I want beer and food after a six hour drive. The food is really...good...but...tourist bland. I really tried, I went in looking for some authentic kesselfleisch offal intensity, and I got pork roast with canned sauerkraut that was somehow worse than the stuff I remember as a kid--also from a can. Don't take me wrong, it was good, just boring. More for you than for me. You'd probably really like it and tell me to go to hell...yawn. It is, reportedly the oldest recorded place to feed/sleep in Ulm (Reported by their menu as 1320). The soup I had was a beefy dumpling with pickled vegetables and was friggin delicious. All of the staff was super nice, which is all the more reason the disappointingly bland other tourist food threw me off. All in all, I'd say you should come here when you're hungry in need of food/beer, and your only other option is curry-wurst.
